Walter Bilic is the Director and principle behind Futbol Australia. Having recently completed a Bachelor of Laws Degree, Walter is currently practising in the area of personal injury law. Walter academic influences are borne in the following areas of administration, sports, entertainment, commercial and migration law.

A former player and referee, Walter’s strengths lie in administration and project development. He has eye for identifying talented sportspeople. An academic history which includes a Bachelor of Teaching in Physical Education and Diploma of Education with major areas of study in Sports Administration & Biomechanics provide a basis for an ongoing understandings and sustained program development.

Walter’s professional career prior to entering the legal profession saw him help develop the largest Music Management Company in Australia as Chief Operations Officer at RCM, before taking over the reins at Australia’s largest Entertainment and Events Agency in his role in charge of Pace Entertainment. (Part of the Gudinski Group of Companies).

Walter's professional Management history is uncompromised having help guide Australian music artist's Tina Arena and Rick Price to major International success in his role at RCM International. These two artists combined, have sold millions of records world-wide and achieved international recognition for their music excellence. Tina has recently had bestowed the Order of France for her contribution to music.

In his role as Pace Entertainment, Walter has event managed international and sporting productions for Multinational clients and profiled sporting associations including; the Australian Tennis Open, the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, PNB-Paribas Davis Cup Tennis and Cricket Australia etc., with their promotions and entertainment requirements.

Walter currently employs a number of specialist individuals who help provide Futbol Australia with the expertise and diversity to make this company a major contributor of Australian home grown football talent.
